In the framework of the project “Replacement of water supply network and new water tanks in the City of Grevena”, spatial mapping of the Grevena water supply network and creation of thematic maps were conducted using the Geographic Information System (GIS) Software “ArcGIS”. Moreover, a hydraulic model was constructed using “InfoWater”, which is a fully GIS integrated water distribution modeling and management software application. The work was conducted on behalf of the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of the city of Grevena aiming to organize and manage the water supply network (total pipeline length 61,5km-five supply zones-7.160 water meters).
A graphical user interface is available through which the user can manage the water supply network topology, based on geographic information.

- Background data (property lines, city block numbering, street names, land use)
- Distribution network data (tanks, pipeline diameters, division into zones, collection chambers, pressure reducing valves, private connections / water meters, local control stations).
