Design of seawater Desalination Plant in Agia Paraskevi – Santorini island

Hydromanagement Ltd. has completed a study at the level of a definitive technical offer study for the seawater desalination unit with the reverse osmosis system at Agia Paraskevi in the Municipality of Thira. The project concerns a drinking water supply of 5,000 m3/d, which ensures the water supply of the settlements of Kamari, Messaria, Vothona, Exo Gonia, Ag. Paraskevi and Monolithos for the next 20 years, while receiving forecast and future expansion to 7,500 m3/d. This is one of the most important projects in Greece in the field of desalination, due to its extent and capacity.
Project budget €9,970,000

The study includes: water extraction project from the open sea through a submarine pipeline, water extraction pumping station and depression pipeline for transporting sea water to the field of the desalination plant, sea water desalination plant with the reverse osmosis system and drinking water pumping station with the transport pipelines for the supply of settlements.
