The project consists of:

1. The internal sewage network of the city of Vathi. The study proposes the implementation of a new sewage network which consists partially of a gravity network section and a vacuum section (independent networks).
2. The sewer transportation network towards the Waste Water Treatment Plant
3. Finding alternative locations for the construction of the Waste Water Treatment Plant
4. The Waste Water Treatment Plant (5.742) and the underwater effluent disposal pipeline. Consideration of alternative treatment methods by unit and stage.

Selection of a Biological Treatment Method which consists of a Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor – MBBR that covers:

• Secondary processing requirements
• Saving space and energy
• Low maintenance costs
• Greater flexibility in load variation between winter and summer
• Investigation and selection of sludge and treated wastewater disposal
